Perfect in wet rooms and shower walls, smooth Portofino allows for an elegant feel of natural stone, polished concrete and Tadelakt.
For a consistent textured finish, Pitted Portofino resembles an “orange peel” look to add depth and variation to your design. Unsuitable for wet rooms and showers.
Rock Face has a unique ability to be both pitted and smooth if a far more varied way. Suitable for wet rooms and showers, if you’re looking for a textured finish with-in your bathroom.
An industry standard finish for high-shine walls, venetian plaster has the look of polished marble, giving an exclusivity to your project.
Franco Finishes Ltd has developed a complete board and render system for wet rooms. Over 30 years of research into render carrier boards and render products has given us the understanding of the stresses and hard wearing nature of wet rooms and showers. Together with the appropriate steps of preparation, Portofino is then applied as a smooth finish, with thousands of colours to choose from.
ShowersIn the same manner as a full wet room system, Portofino and the subsequent products can be used to achieve the same durable finish in just shower cubicles. As long as the water is contained with-in glass doors or a fixed glass pane, the system will work. This also applies to walls above baths.
In non wet areas in a bathroom, such as standalone WC or powder rooms, Portofino can be applied onto normal British Gypsum Thistle Multi Finish Plaster. Portofino will resist minor splashing from small basin usage.
